Crews4U Employer & Job Posting Standards
Effective Date: September 29, 2026
These standards apply to employers, company users, recruiters, and anyone posting or managing jobs through Crews4U. They supplement the Crews4U Terms of Service and are intended to help keep the marketplace useful, accurate, lawful, and safe for workers and employers.
1. Post Real Employment Opportunities
Every job posting must represent a legitimate opportunity that the posting employer is authorized to recruit for. Do not post fake, expired, misleading, speculative, or deceptive opportunities, or listings created primarily to collect résumés, contact information, leads, payments, or other personal data.
2. Describe the Job Accurately
Job titles, duties, employment type, work location, remote status, travel requirements, qualifications, schedule information, and compensation information must be accurate and not materially misleading. Employers should update or close postings when material details change or the opportunity is no longer available.
3. Compensation and Costs
Compensation representations must be made in good faith and comply with applicable pay-transparency, wage-and-hour, and other employment laws. Crews4U must not be used for pay-to-work schemes, deceptive training fees, check-cashing schemes, equipment-purchase scams, or requests that candidates send money or transfer funds as a condition of consideration.
4. Equal Employment Opportunity
Job postings, screening criteria, communications, and hiring activity must comply with applicable anti-discrimination and equal-employment-opportunity laws. Employers may not use Crews4U to unlawfully discriminate based on a legally protected characteristic.
5. Screening Questions
Screening questions must be relevant to the job and lawful for the stage of the hiring process in which they are asked. Employers should focus on qualifications, skills, licenses, certifications, availability, work authorization when legally appropriate, travel, scheduling, and the candidate's ability to perform job-related functions.
Employers may not use Crews4U screening or messaging tools to request information that is prohibited by applicable law or to circumvent restrictions on pre-employment inquiries.
6. Candidate Information and Privacy
Candidate profiles, résumés, contact details, applications, messages, and other information obtained through Crews4U may be used only for legitimate recruiting, hiring, workforce-management, and related business purposes. Employers may not sell candidate information, harvest it for unrelated marketing, or use it for fraud, identity theft, or other unauthorized purposes.
7. No Scams, Impersonation, or Deceptive Recruiting
Employers may not impersonate another company or person, misrepresent their authority to recruit, conceal the true nature of an opportunity, operate pyramid or recruitment-chain schemes, or use Crews4U to facilitate fraud, phishing, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.
8. Professional Communications
Communications with candidates must relate to legitimate recruiting or employment activity. Harassment, threats, abusive communications, sexual solicitation, deceptive requests, spam, and attempts to obtain unnecessary sensitive information are prohibited.
9. Safety and Lawful Work
Employers are responsible for complying with laws and regulations applicable to their workplace and employment practices. Crews4U may not be used to recruit for unlawful work or to encourage candidates to perform work in violation of applicable licensing, safety, wage, labor, or employment requirements.
10. Posting Integrity
A job posting should continue to represent substantially the same opportunity for which candidates applied. Employers may make legitimate operational updates, but may not repurpose an existing posting into a materially different job in a way that misrepresents the opportunity to existing applicants.
11. Reporting, Review, and Enforcement
Crews4U may review reports, job postings, account activity, and other relevant information for marketplace safety and compliance. Crews4U may remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other appropriate action when it reasonably believes these standards or the Terms of Service have been violated. Automated tools, including Crewbie moderation features, may assist review, but consequential moderation decisions may also be reviewed by authorized Crews4U personnel.
12. Employer Responsibility
Employers remain responsible for determining and complying with the laws that apply to their recruiting and employment practices. These standards are marketplace rules and are not legal advice.
13. Questions or Reports
Questions about these standards or suspected violations may be sent to admin@crews4u.com.
